Just over six kilometres, mostly flat limestone track with one proper pinch near Reabold Hill, call it ninety minutes if you're not stopping for every banksia. That's Bold Park bushland trails in the numbers, and I reckon those numbers undersell it. You're ten minutes from City Beach car parks and the ocean's visible from the ridge the whole way round, which is more than most inner-city reserves manage.
What Bold Park actually is
Bold Park sits as one of the largest remaining chunks of Banksia woodland on the Swan Coastal Plain, wedged between City Beach and Floreat with Perry Lakes on one side and the dunes on the other. It doesn't look like much from Oceanic Drive, just scrub and a water tower, but once you're in under the canopy the traffic noise drops away fast and you could be a lot further from the city than you are. The reserve runs a proper network of interconnecting tracks rather than one single loop, which is handy if you want to stretch a walk out or cut it short depending on how the morning's going.
I've written up the fuller trail-by-trail breakdown separately in Bold Park bushland trails: a proper walk minutes from the coast, so I won't repeat every junction here. What I want to get into is what the walk actually feels like underfoot, and whether it earns the
