What to expect
A well-defined footpath descending gradually through low coastal scrub and heath to reach sand and limestone formations. The trail is mostly open with limited shade, so sun exposure increases closer to the beach. Footing is good on compacted track, softening to sand underfoot near the shore. Generally signposted and straightforward.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months—the coastal exposure offers little shade. Wear sturdy walking shoes for mixed terrain. Summer bushfire risk is present; check conditions and avoid during total fire bans. Best walked in spring (Aug–Oct) when wildflowers bloom and temperatures are mild.
