What to expect
Even forest track underfoot with gentle to moderate gradient. The route winds through typical South-West woodland with mixed shade from tall timber and lighter sections through scrub. Signposting is standard; stay alert to markers. Some sections may be exposed to sun, particularly in summer or after recent fire management, so canopy varies by season.
Good to know
Carry 1–2 litres of water; there are no reliable water sources on the track. Summer brings heat and bushfire risk—check conditions before visiting November to March. Wear sturdy walking boots with good grip. Spring wildflowers can be a bonus. Dogs are generally not permitted on WA forest tracks; check local guidelines before bringing pets.
