What to expect
Soft sand surface throughout, completely flat and easy underfoot. The walk is fully exposed — no shade — so you'll feel the sun and wind coming off the water. Signposting is minimal; the route follows the sandy foreshore naturally. Weather and tides shape the terrain, so conditions can shift.
Good to know
Bring water and sunscreen; there's no shelter. Best walked in cooler months (autumn to spring) or early morning in summer. Wear enclosed footwear or sandals comfortable on sand. Check tide times as high tide can narrow the walkable beach. Dogs are often allowed here, but confirm locally.
