What to expect
A flat to gently graded track through typical South-West forest. Underfoot is mostly dirt and root-scattered ground. Shade is plentiful beneath tall timber. The track should be well-defined and easy to follow, with minimal exposure to full sun.
Good to know
Carry water even on short walks in warmer months. Wear sturdy footwear for uneven ground. Best walked in spring (Aug–Oct) or autumn (Mar–May); avoid peak summer heat. Check local conditions after rain, as forest tracks can be muddy.
