What to expect
An unpaved track through mixed forest with gentle to moderate gradients. The surface is natural earth and may be uneven underfoot, especially after rain. Overhead canopy provides dappled shade for much of the route. The track should be clearly marked, typical of Margaret River walks. Relatively easy navigation and no steep climbs.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy walking shoes with good grip for uneven ground. Spring (August–October) is prime wildflower season. Summer brings heat and bushfire risk; check conditions before heading out. The track is best walked in cooler months. No special permits required, but check local conditions at Margaret River visitor centre.
