What to expect

Good to know
Carry at least one litre of water; South-West summers are warm and dry. Wear sturdy walking boots for uneven forest floor. Spring (August–October) brings wildflowers and mild weather — ideal timing. In summer, start early and check local fire-danger ratings before heading out.
