What to expect
A clear ground track with gentle to moderate gradient, winding through low coastal scrub and open heath typical of the Dunsborough area. Expect some exposed sections and limited shade from scattered shrubs and small trees. The trail is generally well-maintained and straightforward to follow.
Good to know
Carry plenty of water—the South-West coast is exposed to sun and wind. Spring (August–October) is best for wildflowers. Wear sturdy walking boots or shoes with grip. Avoid the trail in hot weather or high bushfire risk days; summer temperatures can be intense.
