What to expect
A straightforward walk on sandy ground with minimal gradient. The trail winds through open bushland typical of WA's coastal heath, with scattered shrubs and native plants. Signposting is clear. Shade varies—some sections are exposed to sun, others have patches of shelter beneath low scrub. The sandy surface is firm underfoot but can be soft in places.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy, closed walking shoes suitable for sand. Spring (Aug–Oct) offers the best wildflower display. The South-West can be hot in summer; start early and use sunscreen. Dogs are often not permitted on conservation trails—check locally before visiting.
