What to expect
A flat to gently rolling firebreak track through typical South-West bushland—expect jarrah and marri forest. The path is well-defined and easy underfoot. Minimal gradient. Likely exposed in sections, so sun protection is wise; patches of shade from forest canopy. Track should be clearly marked.
Good to know
Carry water even on a short walk—South-West heat builds quickly. In summer (Dec–Feb), check for bushfire activity before heading out. Spring (Aug–Oct) may reward you with wildflowers. Wear sturdy walking shoes or trainers. Best visited early morning or late afternoon in warmer months to avoid peak heat.
