The Samphire Cove Boardwalk is a short, easy walk through coastal wetland near Mandurah. The 270-metre boardwalk takes around five minutes and offers close views of samphire, mangroves and birdlife typical of the Indian Ocean estuary. It's an ideal spot for a quick nature stop or family outing.

What to expect
A flat, easy boardwalk with minimal gradient. The elevated timber surface keeps you dry underfoot and offers direct views into the wetland. Minimal shade on the boardwalk itself; exposure to sun and wind off the water. Well-signposted and easy to navigate.
Good to know
Short duration makes it ideal for families and those with limited time. Bring sunscreen and a hat—there's little shade. Summer heat and glare can be intense; spring (August–October) is pleasant. Sturdy walking shoes suit the boardwalk. Accessible parking nearby at Mandurah.
