What to expect
An unpaved track with variable surface — likely a mix of compacted earth, gravel and tree roots underfoot. Gentle to moderate gradient. Shade from jarrah, marri or karri forest depending on location. Some exposure to sun in clearer sections. The track should be reasonably clear, though check conditions after rain when it may be soft or muddy.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy walking boots or trail shoes for uneven ground. Check for recent bushfire alerts in summer. The track may be overgrown in places — scout conditions or call the Margaret River visitor centre before visiting. Best walked in autumn through late spring.
