What to expect

Carry water, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy walking shoes. Check conditions before visiting in summer, when bushfire risk is higher. Spring (August–October) offers wildflowers and mild temperatures. Best visited early morning or late afternoon to avoid peak heat.
