Bedridden is a short, easy dirt cycle path near Kalamunda, perfect for a quick spin or as part of a longer ride through the area. At 840 metres, it's ideal for families, beginners or anyone after a brief off-road pedal through local terrain. The ride takes around 5 minutes at a leisurely pace.

What to expect
Flat to gently rolling dirt underfoot with minimal technical challenge. The path is straightforward and easy to navigate, with good sight lines. Expect dappled shade from native trees typical of the Kalamunda foothills—jarrah and marri woodland. Light signposting should guide you; the route is short enough that getting lost is unlikely.

Carry water even for a short ride, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy shoes or mountain bike shoes for grip on loose dirt. Check local conditions after rain, as dirt can be muddy. Best ridden in spring (Aug–Oct) when the weather is mild and wildflowers bloom in nearby bushland.
