What to expect
Uneven unpaved track with moderate ups and downs. Terrain is typical Perth hills—granite-based with variable grading and rocky sections. Track is signposted but follows natural ground. Expect mixed shade from jarrah and marri woodland, with exposed sections on higher ground. Not heavily trafficked.
Good to know
Carry at least 1 litre of water; Perth hills offer little shade in summer heat and bushfire risk is high December–March. Wear sturdy walking boots with ankle support for rocky ground. Spring (August–October) offers wildflowers and cooler temperatures. Start early in warm months.
