What to expect
An unpaved footpath descending gently to the beach. The track is straightforward and well-used, with minimal elevation change. Expect some exposure to sun and wind on the upper sections; shade increases closer to the gorge. The path is signposted and easy to follow.
Good to know
Bring water and sunscreen—the walk is short but the beach area offers little shelter. Wear sturdy footwear for the unpaved surface. Spring (Aug–Oct) and autumn are most pleasant; summer heat can be intense. Check local conditions before visiting, especially after heavy rain.
