- Jarrah and marri forest setting
- Suitable for families and children
- Minimal time commitment, maximum bush feel
What to expect
A gently graded unpaved path through native bush. The track is short enough that grades matter little. Expect typical Perth Hills terrain: red earth and leaf litter underfoot, with mixed shade from woodland canopy. The trail should be well-defined and easy to follow.
Good to know
Even on a brief walk, carry water—Perth Hills sun is fierce in summer. Wear comfortable shoes with grip for unpaved ground. Spring (Aug–Oct) offers wildflowers and cooler weather. Summer bushfire risk is high; check conditions before visiting. Dogs may not be permitted; check local park rules.
