What to expect

Fitness and solid bike-handling are essential.
Good to know

- Firm/surfaced — more accessible going
Carry plenty of water and sun protection; WA's coastal sun is intense. Summer brings heat and bushfire risk — check conditions before riding. Wind can be fierce year-round; dress in layers. Wear a helmet and use lights if riding near dawn or dusk. Best ridden in cooler months (May–September). Suitable for road or gravel bikes with good tyres.
