What to expect
A footpath over rocky and sometimes uneven ground with moderate elevation changes typical of granite country. Sections are open to sun exposure; some tree and shrub cover provides intermittent shade. The trail is generally signposted. Wear sturdy walking boots for grip on stone and loose scree.
Good to know
Carry plenty of water—coastal heathland offers little natural shade and southern WA sun is intense. Spring (August–October) is ideal for wildflower viewing. Summer heat and bushfire risk are factors; check conditions before visiting. Mobile reception varies in the area.
