- Multi-use route: walking, cycling and horse riding allowed
- Challenging terrain — expect uneven footing and grades

What to expect
Unpaved, rough track with variable conditions underfoot — rutted sections, rocks and uneven surfaces are likely. Gradient is likely to be uneven with climbs and descents typical of the Perth Hills. Shade from jarrah and marri forest will be patchy; some open sections exposed to sun and wind. Track may be less heavily signposted than main trails; navigation care required.
Good to know
- Open to cyclists
- Open to horse riders
Carry plenty of water — at least 2 litres. Wear sturdy boots or appropriate bike shoes; this is not a smooth ride or easy walk. Summer heat and bushfire risk make cooler months (April–October) preferable. Check track conditions before heading out, as unpaved roads can be rough after rain. Dogs are generally allowed on tracks, but confirm locally.
