Mandu Mandu Gorge Track is a moderate 2.6 km walk near Exmouth that descends into a scenic gorge carved through red earth and limestone. The return journey takes around 35 minutes and suits walkers with reasonable fitness. It's a popular local walk offering views of the gorge walls and a taste of Pilbara landscape without requiring technical skill or serious distance.

What to expect
Unpaved track descending into the gorge with moderate gradient. The path is reasonably well-defined and generally straightforward to follow. Expect rocky, uneven ground underfoot in places. Minimal natural shade; the gorge provides some relief, but exposure to sun is common. Signposting is typically clear at the trailhead and key points.
Good to know
Carry at least 1–2 litres of water, especially in warmer months. Exmouth summers are very hot and dry; this walk is best done early morning or late afternoon. Wear sturdy walking shoes with good grip for uneven terrain. There is no water on the track. Spring (Aug–Oct) offers the most comfortable conditions.
