- Red earth and rocky outcrops
- Local wildflowers in spring (Aug–Oct)
- 10-minute walk from Exmouth township
- Easy gradient, minimal elevation change
What to expect
A gentle, unpaved footpath across red earth and low native shrubs. Minimal gradient. The track is open and exposed with little shade, so sun and heat are factors. Signposting should guide you; wear sturdy walking shoes for the rough, stony ground.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warm months. Summer (Nov–Apr) brings intense heat and bushfire risk—check conditions before visiting. Spring wildflowers (Aug–Oct) are a highlight. The walk suits all fitness levels but watch your footing on uneven terrain. Allow extra time to enjoy the landscape.
