What to expect
The track winds through open forest with a mix of shade and exposed sections. Expect moderate gradient with some undulation leading to the falls. The path is generally well-formed and signposted. Footing is typical of Darling Range bushland—packed earth and leaf litter, potentially muddy after rain. Allow slower pace if the track is wet.
Good to know
Carry at least 1 litre of water, especially in warmer months. Summer heat and bushfire risk mean checking conditions before visiting November–March. Wear sturdy walking shoes with good ankle support. Spring (Aug–Oct) offers pleasant temperatures and wildflowers. Dogs are typically not permitted on national park trails—check local rules.
