Good to know
Bring a small water bottle, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes with good grip. In summer (Nov–Apr), start early to avoid heat and check local bushfire restrictions before visiting. Spring wildflowers (Aug–Oct) can be pleasant. Dogs often not permitted in reserves; check before bringing pets.
