Good to know
Carry plenty of water—at least 2 litres—as the Perth hills offer little reliable supply. Wear sturdy boots or mountain-bike shoes; ankle support essential on rough ground. Summer heat and bushfire risk make this better tackled April–October. Check fire ban status before visiting. Mobile coverage may be patchy.
