Good to know
Carry at least 2 litres of water; there are no facilities mid-route. Wear sturdy walking boots with good grip for uneven ground. Avoid summer months (Dec–Feb) due to heat and bushfire risk. Spring wildflowers (Aug–Oct) make this season ideal. Start early to finish before dark.
