What to expect

Shade and exposure will depend on the surrounding vegetation—typical of South-West forests with patches of jarrah or marri. Walking shoes are adequate.
Good to know
Short enough for a casual outing; no water sources along the track, so bring your own. Best walked in cooler months (Apr–Sep) to avoid heat. Check conditions after heavy rain when gravel may be soft. Carry water even for this brief walk in warmer weather.
