What to expect

Excellent tree shade throughout, but the terrain is technical underfoot and demands good foot placement. Signposting is clear at turns and junctions.
Good to know
- Waymarked route
Carry at least two litres of water; forest trails offer no reliable water sources. Wear sturdy walking boots for grip on rooted and rocky sections. Spring (August–October) offers wildflowers; avoid the hottest months (December–February) when risk of bushfire closures rises. Check local conditions before departure.
