Flat to gently rolling unpaved track through typical Pemberton forest. The surface is loose earth and leaf litter. Expect dappled shade from tall trees overhead, with open forest floor. The track is short and easy underfoot with minimal gradient—straightforward walking in any decent shoes.
Good to know
Summer heat and bushfire risk are considerations; check local conditions in December–February. Carry water even on short walks. Spring (August–October) offers wildflowers. Dogs are generally not permitted in national parks and reserves. No special fitness needed, but sturdy footwear is sensible for uneven ground.
