What to expect
Gravel underfoot with roots and uneven sections; moderate to steep grades in places. The track winds through tall forest with varying shade. Signposting may be minimal in sections, so navigation skills and a map are essential. Expect exposed ridge lines and creek crossings depending on recent rainfall. Not a manicured walk—this is genuine bushland terrain.
Good to know
Carry plenty of water (at least 2 litres) and sun protection; there's limited shade in exposed areas. Wear sturdy boots with good ankle support. Start early to finish before dark. Check local conditions before heading out, especially in summer when bushfire risk is elevated. This track suits experienced bushwalkers; navigation awareness is important.
