What to expect
Well-formed footpath through dense karri woodland with gentle to moderate grade. Forest floor is mostly soft leaf litter and compacted earth. Signposting leads through the trees to the falls in a peaceful gully. Excellent shade from the canopy most of the way; stream bed section may be rocky underfoot near the falls.
Good to know
Carry water despite forest shade — South-West summers are hot. Wear sturdy, gripped shoes for potentially slippery sections near the waterfall. Dogs are not permitted in national parks or on this walk. Spring (Aug–Oct) brings wildflowers and reliable water flow. Check conditions after heavy rain.
