Bingham Road is a challenging 8 km unpaved track near Pemberton, suited to experienced walkers and riders with solid fitness. The route winds through the South-West forest landscape, climbing and descending over uneven terrain. Allow 1 hour 45 minutes for a steady pace. This is a remote track; come prepared with water, navigation skills and awareness of season and conditions.

What to expect
Unpaved, often uneven ground with roots and rocks. Sustained climbing and descending across hilly terrain — expect gradual climbs broken by short steeper pitches. Shade is variable; sections pass through forest canopy while others are more exposed. The track may be muddy or rutted depending on recent rain. Navigation is important; come with a map or GPS.
Good to know
Carry adequate water (at least 2 litres) and high-SPF sunscreen. Summer brings heat and bushfire risk; avoid or check conditions Dec–Feb. Wear sturdy hiking boots or trail shoes for grip on loose surfaces. Winter and spring offer cooler, more pleasant conditions. Check access and track condition locally before heading out.
