What to expect
An unpaved track with gentle to moderate gradient underfoot. Expect forest floor of leaf litter, exposed roots and occasional rocky sections typical of the South-West. Shaded by tall trees for much of the route, though some sections may be open to sky. The track should be clearly marked or well-formed; check signposting on arrival.
Good to know
Carry at least one litre of water and wear sturdy walking boots for the unpaved surface. Spring (August–October) brings wildflowers and pleasant temperatures. Summer heat and bushfire risk make autumn and winter safer choices. The South-West can be wet in cooler months—check conditions before setting out.
