Dictition Road is a moderate 3 km gravel track near Pemberton, walkable in around 40 minutes. It's a straightforward out-and-back route through jarrah and marri forest typical of the South-West, offering a solid woodland walk without technical difficulty. Good for an easy half-hour outing from town.

What to expect
Firm gravel underfoot, fairly level terrain with gentle grades. The track runs through dense South-West forest with good tree cover overhead. Expect shade for much of the walk. Track should be clearly marked and easy to follow. Not steep or technical.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy walking shoes suitable for gravel. Spring (Aug–Oct) brings wildflowers to the forest margins. Summer heat and bushfire risk mean early-morning walks are preferable. Check local conditions before visiting.
