What to expect
Unpaved track underfoot with gradual to moderate gradient. Sections may be rutted or loose, depending on recent weather. Reasonable tree cover from jarrah and marri provides partial shade, though exposure increases in cleared areas. Track should be signposted at key points, but carry a map or GPS reference.
Good to know
Wear sturdy walking boots or trail shoes for grip on uneven ground. Carry at least one litre of water; South-West summers are warm and dry. Check fire danger ratings in summer months—some local tracks close during high risk. Spring (Aug–Oct) brings wildflowers and cooler conditions.
