What to expect
A walking track that largely follows East Brook through shaded karri forest. The terrain is generally well-defined underfoot, with creek crossings to navigate. Gradient is moderate and manageable. You'll have good shade from the tall timber, though creek crossings may be slippery after rain. The track should be signposted at the trailhead and key points.
Good to know
Carry at least 1–2 litres of water despite creek proximity (water quality varies). Wear sturdy walking shoes with grip for wet crossings. Spring (Aug–Oct) offers pleasant conditions; summer can be hot. Check conditions after heavy rain. Not suitable for young children without supervision at creek crossings.
