What to expect
An unpaved forest track with easy, mostly flat walking. The South-West's tall timber—karri and jarrah—will provide good shade throughout. The track is well-trodden and easy to follow. You may encounter minor undulation but nothing steep. Ground underfoot is soft forest duff and gravel.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy walking shoes with good grip for unpaved ground. The area is pleasant year-round, but avoid midday heat in summer. Check local conditions before visiting, particularly November to April when bushfire risk is elevated.
