Good to know
Carry at least 1–1.5 litres of water, particularly in warmer months. Summer heat can be intense in South-West WA; start early and avoid midday. In fire danger season (typically Dec–Feb), check local fire danger ratings before heading out. Sturdy walking shoes grip gravel well. Spring wildflowers are a bonus if walking August to October.
