What to expect
A level or gently rolling gravel track under forest canopy. The surface is well-maintained and easy underfoot. Expect dappled shade from tall timber, with little steep gradient. The short distance means minimal exposure to open sun, though some sections may be sunnier in winter when foliage is thinner.
Good to know
Carry water even on short walks, especially in warmer months. Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip on gravel. Summer bushfire risk is elevated; check local conditions before visiting. Spring (August–October) brings wildflowers to the forest understory. The track is easily accessible from Pemberton.
