What to expect
A well-formed footpath through native forest with gentle to moderate grade. The track is generally shaded under tall karri and marri, with a mix of dirt and root underfoot. Good to know
Carry plenty of water, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy walking shoes with good grip for root sections. Spring (August–October) offers wildflowers and cooler conditions. Summer brings heat and bushfire risk—check conditions before walking. The South-West can be wet in winter; trails may be muddy.
