What to expect
A straightforward walk on unpaved ground through bushland with minimal gradient. The track should be well-defined and easy to follow. Expect dappled shade from native forest, though some sections may be more open. The terrain is stable underfoot for walking boots or sturdy shoes.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months—south-west heat builds quickly. Check conditions after heavy rain, as unpaved tracks can be muddy. Summer brings bushfire risk; avoid walking during total fire bans. Spring wildflowers (Aug–Oct) are a bonus. Dogs are generally not permitted in conservation areas.
