What to expect
A well-formed track through open forest with gentle grades—no steep sections. The path is easy to follow and shaded by mature trees for most of the walk. Ground is mostly soft forest floor and compacted earth. Good signposting throughout. Minimal elevation gain.
Good to know
Carry water despite the short distance and shaded forest—South-West summers are hot. Wear sturdy walking shoes with grip for forest floors. Spring (Aug–Oct) brings wildflowers. Check conditions before visiting in summer due to bushfire risk in the region.
