What to expect
A gently graded unpaved track through open forest. Minimal elevation change. The trail should be well-maintained and easy to follow, typical of South-West forest terrain with scattered shade from tall trees. Surface is likely reddish earth or sand common to the region.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months. Wear sturdy walking shoes with good grip on unpaved ground. Spring (August–October) is ideal for mild weather and wildflowers. Summer brings heat and potential bushfire risk; check conditions before visiting. The track is close enough for a morning or afternoon outing from Pemberton.
