What to expect
Gravel underfoot with uneven, root-studded sections typical of South-West forest country. Steady climbs and descents throughout; this is a conditioning walk, not a stroll. Expect limited flat sections. Shade from jarrah and marri forest will provide relief on warmer days, though some exposed stretches occur. Trail should be well signposted; check condition before heading out.
