Good to know
Carry water even for this shorter walk—South-West forest can feel sheltered but is still warm in summer. Wear sturdy walking boots or shoes for forest floors. Spring (August–October) is peak wildflower season. In summer, check bushfire risk before heading out. Dogs are typically not permitted on forest tracks in this region.
