Allow 30 minutes for the full distance, depending on fitness and trail conditions.
Highlights
- Technical forest riding through jarrah and marri woodland
- 7.8 km loop suited to intermediate–advanced cyclists
- South-West forest atmosphere and natural canopy
- Single-track sections with varied gradient
- Close to Collie facilities and services
What to expect
Narrow single-track or dual-track through dense forest with uneven ground, rocks and roots underfoot. Sections climb and descend with genuine gradient challenge; expect some steep pitches. Trail should be clearly marked; canopy provides intermittent shade but exposure varies. Wet conditions after rain make sections slippery.
Good to know
- Open to cyclists
Carry water and wear appropriate cycling shoes or grips. Check conditions after heavy rain—South-West trails can be muddy. Summer heat builds quickly in forest; ride early. No specific season restrictions, but spring wildflowers make autumn–winter pleasant. A full-suspension or hardtail with good control is advisable for technical sections.
