What to expect
A well-graded unpaved track through jarrah and marri forest typical of the Pemberton region. Minimal elevation change keeps the pace comfortable. The forest canopy provides good shade. Track condition will vary with recent rainfall; underfoot may be soft earth or leaf litter. Signposting should guide you clearly.
Good to know
Carry water even on short walks in summer; WA's heat and forest terrain dry out quickly. Wear sturdy shoes for uneven ground. Spring (Aug–Oct) is best for wildflower colour and cooler conditions. In summer (Dec–Feb), start early and watch for bushfire risk alerts.
