Good to know
Carry at least 1–2 litres of water; island conditions are exposed and can be warm, especially October to April. Wear sturdy walking shoes for sandy terrain and good sun protection. Spring wildflowers (August–October) are particularly striking. No dogs allowed on Rottnest walks. Start early to avoid heat and crowds.
