Good to know
Carry at least 1–2 litres of water. Wear sturdy walking shoes or boots for the gravel surface. Spring (August to October) offers wildflower colour and cooler conditions. Summer heat and bushfire risk mean early starts are wise in the warmer months. Dogs are usually not permitted on walking trails in conservation areas—check locally before visiting.
