What to expect
A gently graded unpaved track winding through native South-West forest. Underfoot surface is mostly soft earth and leaf litter typical of jarrah or karri woodland. Good to know
Carry water even on short walks in WA's climate. Wear sturdy shoes suitable for unpaved terrain. Spring (August–October) brings wildflowers in the forest understory. Summer heat can be intense; start early. Check conditions after heavy rain as unpaved tracks can become muddy. Dogs are generally not permitted in national parks or formal reserves.
